Gifts Your Dance Teacher Will Truly Appreciate

The best gift you can give your dance teacher?

Your presence, a strong work ethic and pointed feet!

If you want to go above and beyond, here are some ideas for gifts that your dance teacher will truly appreciate!

A New Notebook

As a dance teacher I go through dozens of notebooks a year. A nice notebook is always appreciated (and sure to be used!)

I love this one because the paper is nice and thick and the cover is luxuriously soft.

Pair it with a new set of pens and you’ve got a great gift!

Pampering Gift Card

After a long season, your dance teacher deserves some major R&R!

Treat them to a gift card to their favorite massage therapist, esthetician, hair dresser, or nail tech.

(This would be my gift of choice if any of my students are reading this 😉)

L’OCCITANE Hand Cream

This is the best hand cream on the market and I will die on that hill.

Between wiping snotty noses and demonstrating floor work, your dance teacher is likely washing their hands A LOT. This hand cream is luxurious and something they might not purchase for themselves, but will be so grateful for.

CALPAK Laptop Backpack

Being a dance teacher requires a lot of stuff!

If you’ve noticed your dance teacher’s bag could use an upgrade, this backpack is a great choice. Space for a laptop and tons of pockets to store dance shoes, clothing, notebooks, snacks, you name it!

Travel Steamer

This thing is a lifesaver!

Folds up nice and compact to throw in a dance bag to remedy a wrinkled tutu or a suitcase for a fun post dance season getaway!

Truly an unexpected gift that will be so appreciated.

Local Restaurant Gift Card

Another great option is a gift card to their favorite local restaurant!

This can be a fun one to do as a group gift as well so that you can make sure to cover their whole meal (plus drinks & dessert!)

Berkshire Heated Blanket

I gifted my kid’s teachers this heated blanket for the holidays and it has been the talk of the school.

Every single teacher has made a point to bring up how much they love their heated blanket and how they have to fight with the rest of their family to get a turn using it. Trust me - this is sure to be a hit.

Maison Louis Marie Candle

One of my favorite gifts to receive is a luxury candle. It’s something I would hesitate to buy for myself but makes me feel so special when given as a gift.

I received this candle in scent No.04 Bois de Balincourt for Christmas and it is a dream!

bearberry Robe

Another great pick for your dance teacher who likes to relax in comfort is a nice robe.

This robe is cozy, plush and feels like a warm hug. Plus, it comes in thirteen different colorways and it’s one size fits all!

Handwritten Note

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to make your dance teacher feel loved!

Honestly, nothing makes us feel more appreciated than a handwritten note. I have an entire box of notes my students have given me over the years and it always gives me the warm fuzzies to go back and read them. Knowing we’ve made an impact on you is the greatest gift!

Ultimately, the best gifts are ones that show you are paying attention!

I know many teachers love receiving coffee gift cards but others may not be coffee drinkers period. If you see your teacher walk into the studio each night latté in hand, go for it! Otherwise, find something else you know they would love!

Please know that your dance teachers do not expect presents but it is always appreciated.

Have other ideas? Maybe an idea for an amazing gift you received that you think everyone needs to know about? SHARE it in the comments!
